The Extension and Development programme extends and challenges our students, in Years eight to ten, in areas across the curriculum. During these sessions the boys work as individual students or in small groups on activities designed to develop higher order thinking skills such as Future Problem Solving, Excellence Expo, Scenario writing, Tournament of the Minds, problem solving and individual study projects based on areas of special interest or community concern.
Students are encouraged to utilise computer-based technologies and to present their work to suitable audiences. This programme is exciting and extends the learning opportunities and experiences available to students within the classroom. It is considered a school subject and as such has homework, assignments and reports.
