English Second Language – (ESL)
The College has a specialist ESL teacher timetabled to teach ESL classes for students that are identified under this category. The classes are usually small and deliver a variety of curriculum topics that are of interest to ESL students. These topics may include English Language Skills, Australian History, Civics, Business Basics, Australian Culture and modified versions of a year level English programme. Currently the majority of the students accessing these classes are Sudanese, but the programme is flexible to meet the needs of the group enrolled in the subject.
