The Handbook outlines the units available in years 9 and 10 as semester units.
All year 9 students must study Core and Elective Units.
The Core units are from the Religious Education , English, Mathematics and Science Departments. All year 9 students must also study a semester of SOSE (Study of Society and the Environment). They may either choose SS571 Knights and Castles or SS572 Savage Earth. Some students may choose to study both SOSE units.
The Elective Units can be chosen from the following areas :

- Information Technology (IT511, IT670)
- Human Movement (HM509, HM510)
- Japanese (JL 571, JL572)
- Graphics (GR571, GR572)
- Metal Technology (MT I, MT II)
- Wood Technology (WT I, WT II)
- Art (AR510, AR512)
- Music (MU I, MU II)
- Drama (DR581, DR582)
