Outdoor Education

The Outdoor Education Program at St Mary's aims to help a boy build resilience, stamina, leadership skills and self-belief and a wider understanding of their community. There are a number of camps available to boys across the year levels. They range from overnight camps in the younger years to 4 day survival camps in year 11. Each camp is designed to focus on a different element of a boy's formation. As St Mary's believes a boy's formation should be holistic, each camp has a focus on spirituality also.
The PE curriculum also supports the Outdoor Education Program with theory on personal wellbeing and healthy lifestyles when combined with the Outdoor Education program they complete.
